Richard Carter BVSc (Hons) MRCVS Richard qualified as a veterinary surgeon from
Onderstepoort, South Africa in 1988, a postgraduate degree in Veterinary parasitology in 1992 and a varied career
in South Africa including general practice, state vet work in Zululand (vet to King Goodwill of the Zulus!), some
wildlife work, rabies eradication campaigns and lecturing, Richard decided to move to the U.K. where he has been working
as a small animal veterinary surgeon since 1998. Apart from small animal veterinary practice, he also has an interest
in oncology (cancers), surgery and clinical pathology.
Richard has a cat called Oberon and a yellow
labrador called Sam both rescued from work.

Louise Ayre MRCVS Louise qualified as a vet in 1992. She has worked
as vet in the Louth area for various practices and currently works between the Blue Cross in Grimsby and Black Sheep Vets.
Louise has an interest in veterinary acupuncture and will be bringing this skill to Black Sheep.
Karla Brown Karla joined the practice in April 2004 and is receptionist and nursing
assistant. Karla has Hobie, a pug x Shih Tzu

Becky Short Becky joined the practice in July 2002 as receptionist and vet nursing
assistant. Becky and family own Moon the boxer.
