Welcome to Black Sheep Vets in Louth!

A Happy New Year to all. A big thank you to all our clients, friends and family that have supported us over this year.

We are a small animal orientated veterinary practice on the Fairfield Estate in Louth, Lincolnshire.

Owned and run by veterinary surgeon Richard Carter, and assisted by Karla, Becky, Sarah and Louise we can offer a personal professional service for you and your pet.

Acupuncture in pets
Louise Ayre is a vet with an interest in veterinary acupuncture. Louise has previously worked at the Grimsby Blue Cross and Eastfields and will be working at Black Sheep on Thursday afternoons. Acupuncture is particularly good for arthritis and Louise also has had good results with long term skin problems. Acupuncture may require repeat treatments.

Puppies everywhere!!

Puppy Classes
The Louth & District Dog Club puppy socialisation classes are held at the surgery on Wednesday evenings from 7pm. Please contact Mrs Carol Mortimer of the Louth & District Dog Club on (01507) 327612 for further details.

At our practice, we pride ourselves on our client and patient service. We use safe and proven procedures such as propofol and isoflorane anaesthesia. Black Sheep Vets has a well equipped surgery offering xray, endoscope, ultrasound and in-house laboratory facilities for prompt investigations and treatment.

We do house calls but we usually find the best treatment is provided if we see the patient at the practice. House calls will be arranged between 2pm to 4 pm or after 6pm. If your pet has an emergency and you cannot get to the surgery and we cannot leave the practice, we would recommend R & S Pet Taxi (Richard) at 01507 604194, Mobile 07711 501 797 who may be able to collect and return your pet.
